The Pathways to Work programme is our all-age employment support for adults with autism and / or learning disabilities in the Rotherham area. 

This project aims to engage people in conversations about employment and support them to take the first step towards seeking employment through development of an individual pathway and action plan.

Individuals have access to a Specialist Employment Coach who will provide them with support and guidance in the initial stages, with support to triage through to longer term employment support across Rotherham

What Support does the programme offer?  

Our Pathways to Work Engagement programme offers the following support:  

• Support to access longer term employability provision
• Development of an action plan and goals to help towards employment
• Understand options available to help progress

 Eligibility 

To be eligible for this programme you must meet the following criteria: 

• Live in a Rotherham council area 
• Be over the age of 16
• Not currently accessing any other DWP (Department for Work and Pensions) funded project  
• Not be in employment, education, or training 
• Have a disability or SEND need – You do not need a formal diagnosis to access this support  

 The programme is currently funded till March 2026
