Working together to achieve inclusion

Through the Thriving at Work project, we were able to support the Bridlington Escape Rooms after contacting the owner, Danielle. She showed a passion for wanting to learn more, not only to change how the business operated, but to make sure she was supporting her staff and customers as inclusively as possible. After a thorough needs assessment, Autism Plus provided training, strategies and guidance to help the business become a disability confident employer, and to help put in place practical supports that are neurodiverse friendly increasing accessibility for all.

Danielle has provided an overview of the impact the partnership work has had on their organisation.

We became a disability confident employer and the training we received has helped us to create a more inclusive environment at the escape room.”
