Autism Plus Employment Services Launches Positive Futures Programme in South Yorkshire
We are excited to announce the launch of our brand-new Positive Futures programme, a dedicated initiative designed to support neurodivergent young people in South Yorkshire to access education, employment, and training opportunities.
Positive Futures forms part of the ICB Health and Growth Accelerator programme and reflects our commitment to empowering neurodivergent individuals on their journey towards meaningful, fulfilling futures. The programme will officially launch in December 2025, and registrations are now open for young people who meet the eligibility criteria
Who Is the Programme For?
Positive Futures is aimed at young people aged 16 to 24 living in South Yorkshire who:

Have a neurodivergent need, and
-
Are experiencing periods of absence from education or work, or
-
Are struggling to access education, training or employment.
What Support Will Participants Receive?
Participants in the Positive Futures programme will benefit from an individualised approach that puts their aspirations and needs at the centre. Support includes:

Personalised action planning and My Work Plan
-
One-to-one employment support
-
Confidence building activities
-
A Day in the Life Of sessions
-
Travel training and social opportunities, and
-
Tailored support interventions based on individual goals.
This holistic blend of practical support is designed not just to help participants prepare for work or education, but to build confidence and resilience along the way.
Partnership Working
Positive Futures is delivered in partnership with Speakup, working together to ensure every young person receives the guidance and support they need to navigate barriers and take positive steps towards sustainable futures.
