In Partnership with the Sheffield City Council Deaf/Hearing and Vision support services Autism Plus hosted a Hidden Disability Job Fair in Sheffield In October 2023.

On Wednesday 27th September 2023, Employment for Everyone along with the Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council held an exciting free event at the New York Stadium aimed at employers looking to expand their employment opportunities to people with learning disabilities and autistic people.

Our Wakefield LSE team were delighted to be invited to the SEND Employment Forum Launch Event in Wakefield. Hosted by the preparing for Adulthood team, the event brought together education providers, young SEND students, as well as employers to from a partnership in supporting young SEND adults in Wakefield towards employment.

Welcome to our new base in Wakefield. We are now settled into our new Wakefield Base at Agbrigg & Belle Vue Community Centre. We’d like to give a big thank you to the Wakefield Council Day Opportunities team for welcoming us to join you, with a local base for our Local Supported Employment Project.

Our Head of Specialist Employment Services participated in a mini-summit as part of employability and skills programme.

We have been working with in partnership with the local Jobcentre Plus in Thorne to ensure that local people have access to the right support to suit their needs. Not only this but we now have our own display within their premises, created by the local Disability Employment Advisors.
